Behind-the-Scenes with Chef Matt Accarrino

That’s a WRAP! Chef Matt Accarrino, Executive Chef for SPQR Restaurant in San Francisco, California just wrapped a video shoot for our new BPA-Free line of Foodservice solutions.

The video shoot is a collaboration between Rubbermaid Commercial Products and Eastman Chemical Company. Chef Accarrino has been using the BPA-Free products to help us test the durability of the food contact products to see how they live-up to the demands of a busy commercial kitchen.

RCP created these products with Eastman Chemical Company using its Tritan™ copolyester, a BPA-free material that offers the advantages of durability and clarity.

Stay-tuned, the video is scheduled to launch July 1. Meanwhile, here’s a look at some behind-the-scenes:

RCP Booth Taking Shape at NRA 2012!

Day two of set-up and although it’s still early, things are really starting to take shape! An endless amount of boxes have been unpacked, product assembled, signage placed and the styling of the booth has officially begun.

For us, it’s like moving and unpacking a house, except everything needs to be absolutely perfect in about two-days–no pressure?! NRA 2012 officially starts tomorrow and the transformation continues!

Behind the Scenes of RCP’s Booth at NRA 2012

The excitement is building and the Convention Center at McCormick Place in Chicago is buzzing with activity! NRA 2012 has officially kicked off–LET THE TRANSFORMATION BEGIN!

In Case You Missed It! We’re Expanding!

Back in December, the announcement was made by Governor Bob McDonnell’s Office that RCP received an investment grant to expand its operations in the City of Winchester and establish a distribution center in Frederick County.

Since then, Michael Polk (NWL CEO), Bill Burke (Group President, Newell Professional), and other RCP folks officially kicked off the expansion project at the former GE Building in Winchester with a ceremonial ribbon cutting, facility tours, party favors, and employee enthusiasm.
